Spring sports like soccer and softball are coming in full-swing! That means back-to-back practice and games. It can be tempting to push your fashion goals to the side in lieu of comfortable attire, but don’t give in! We’ve put together a short list on how to pump up your sideline sass.
Less is More
If you typically wear a full face of heavy makeup, good news. Save yourself time by going less! Being on the sideline is hot with the excitement, which means warmer temperatures and sweating. Avoid looking like a sopping scoop of ice cream and keep your makeup to a minimum.
It’s Not the Runway
If you show up for a little league game looking like you stepped off a Paris runway, you are going to stand out, and not in a good way. Mind the conditions you will be in when picking out your outfit. You can expect dirt, mud or sand if you’re spectating at a soccer or beach volleyball game. Heels are a no-go in these situations.
Avoid Tacky Pieces
Jumpsuits with “Juicy” written across the buttocks region, clothing that shows too much cleavage or thigh aren’t in good taste. Instead, wear colors of the team you’re supporting! You’ll feel like you’re a part of the game.
For cool mornings and warm afternoons, a pair of nice jeans paired with a long sleeved t-shirt will go a long way. A tank top underneath just in case the warm weather kicks in. Remember, layers are key in dressing for the sideline. You’ll always win with athletic leisurewear and it’s comfortable as well!
