Vagaro Offers Credit Card Processing in Canada, Australia and The UK
Vagaro now offers credit card processing in Canada, Australia and The United Kingdom. The features have been offered to business owners in the United States for several years.
“Many businesses in Canada, Australia and the UK have been using Vagaro for booking, marketing and payroll,” said founder and CEO Fred Helou. “The addition of payment processing unlocks a set of features that makes Vagaro a true all-in-one solution for them.”
Vagaro’s merchant services include a POS system that works seamlessly with its scheduling platform, with low, flat rates, applicable to all major credit cards. Customers can use contactless forms of payment with Apple Pay and Google Pay, simply by holding their device above a card reader. They can also pre-pay or put down a deposit when they book online, protecting businesses against no-shows and cancellations.
Among the related benefits of Vagaro’s payment processing is the ability to keep customers’ credit card details on file for future use. This helps businesses secure a recurring income stream with memberships and packages that can be set to renew automatically.
“Our merchant services make it easy for businesses to creat their own online store, where they can sell products, gift cards, packages and merchandise,” said Helou. “The store, including inventory management, can be easily managed from a computer, iPad or mobile phone.”
For on-site customers, Vagaro offers all the POS software and hardware a business needs: cash drawers, receipt printers, barcode scanners and credit card readers. Businesses signing up for one year receive a free card reader.
“Our international expansion is an exciting step for Vagaro and the businesses we serve,” said Helou. “The past year has been very difficult for businesses around the world, and we’re here to help them not only get through it but thrive.”
Vagaro is a cloud-based scheduling software commonly used by beauty, fitness, and wellness businesses to manage booking, credit card payments and processing, marketing, payroll, inventory management, reporting, and much more.
